Construction supervision activity related to the Miskolc northern bypass project.
Project objective:
In addition to its transport development and environmental importance, part of the road constructed during the implementation of phase II of the Miskolc northern bypass section between M30 – main road no. 26 also has flood protection functions as the dike of the Sajó River.
The new bypass road no. 26 bypasses Miskolc, passing around the Csorba Lake with 2x1 lanes in 5844 m length, starting from the existing end junction of the M30 motorway. In order to prevention the damage caused by the 2010 flood in the future, the project involved the relocation of main road no. 3 and the restructuring of the connecting road of Felsőzsolca. There are two bridges of 130 m length each at the two roads. The project also includes a 4500 m-long floodwater drainage canal and the 3300 m-long so-called circular dike protecting Arnót.
A new road was built in nearly 6 km length on a new route with 2x1 traffic lanes, along with the construction of roundabouts and 5 other structures.
