Construction supervision services related to the construction of the track network, platforms and underpass of Vác station.
Project objective:
The traffic of the station is controlled by a new electronic interlocking equipment. A modern passenger information system was installed with real time information. The station building was refurbished with respect of its historical character, under the supervision of heritage protection authorities.
A P+R parking lot with 353 spaces and a B+R bicycle storage for 70 bicycles were built on the two sides of the station. The construction of raised platforms and the installation of elevators and ramps enable the fast and accessible exchange of passengers. New operation buildings were built.
The expansion of the underpass near the station and the construction of a parallel, new bicycle-pedestrian tunnel improves the transport of the town, while platforms can be accessed from the new pedestrian underpass.
A new lighting system was installed in the entire station area with the realisation of complete landscaping. Apart from the replacement of the track network, noise protection is provided by 7000 m2 of noise barrier walls. The construction investment involved nearly 15 km railway track and 22 km overhead line.

During the project, our Company has been assigned with project management, execution direction tasks as well as construction supervision services in several specialised fields. Our activities also included cost control and quantity surveying tasks, as well as the certification of the Contractor’s monthly and overall performance.
