In the frame of the contract for “Performing the construction supervisor and engineer tasks related to the “Design and construction works of Vác, Érd and Vác traction substations” railway construction project”, we provided construction supervisor services for the modernisation of Újszász, Érd and Vác traction substations.
Project objective:
The aim of the project was the installation of a remote-controlled electric traction power supply system that does not require any operating staff and serves railway operation needs with a high level of operational reliability.
The remote control system had to be integrated in the operating system of the remote control centre of overhead line power. The possibility of local operation had to be provided at each traction substation.
Tasks realised during project execution:
- refurbishment of the substation earthing system,
- refurbishment of the lightning protection system of the substation,
- complete primary and secondary refurbishment of the 132/25 kV transformer bays,
- performing the grid development required for the capacity expansion to 2x16 MVA,
- complete primary and secondary refurbishment of the 25 kV traction system,
- refurbishment of 25 kV outgoing cables from the substation,
- complete refurbishment of the auxiliary operation system,
- complete refurbishment of the control technology system,
- complete refurbishment of the consumption metering system.
